Was out walking the dogs on the beach in Little Compton, and as I looked in the brush above the beach I found a plug. Finding a plug is nice but this plug is sweet! It's a small Danny in silver, with a shot of red. It's definatly a home made. It has a flag all it's barbs are flattened and was attached with a small TA clip. But the real identification mark are the initials P M on the Dannie's lip. Is there any one out there in bass land who knows who PM is or the story of how this plug came to be on the beach in L. C. Thanks for your help Charlie

Pics always help when a plug needs to be identified.

Likely made by ProfessorM (paul) on this site. Shoot him a PM. He makes really nice stuff, good find. Pretty sure the one i have is stamped PM.

He told me he lost that plug on a cow piranha on Lake Titticaca. Never one to burn a spot that one. LOL

Do I look Dominican? Hey come on guys I'm very distraught Art C. threw my plug away, on purpose. I guess coming in upside down is not a beneficial trait.

How about that picture?
Is it small danny or a Gary 2 slim/BM schoolie style swimmer ( long concave tail).
If the latter, then I know the story behind it.

With the help of my much smarter than me wife I have the picture. I am truly technically challenged! This is a picture of the lure I found off a Little Compton beach last weekend.

yup that's one of mine. It's D. Pichney's smallest danny that I copied from and original lent to me by S. McKenna. A real nice plug, not mine but the original. Probably thrown away by a friend Art C. who fishes the Elizabeth Islands. I'll have to give him another to throw away. Change the hooks and fish it. Good luck. Thanks for sharing. P.

You should put that logo on your tubes too.

Professor that beach faces cutty but thats a long way for a plug to drift. I am suprised that the hooks have not rusted off. Its nice to find a plug but a good one is the best. I have this recurring day dream that I find a breif case full of money or a tackle box with gorgeous vintage lures as I walk the beach. Guess I found one of the lures out of that tackle box. Usually I dont find any thing but cheap rebbel copies.
