On my recent vacation in FL I was driving down I95 and I see this huge glass building home of Gray's Taxidermy, I decided to stop in and check it out. I walk into an area that is all glass offices all the way around. Each office is decked out with fish mounts. The woman working there later tells me they designed the offices to look like as if your walking into an aquarium. I ask if there's a show room I can look at and she tells me there isn't but I could get a walk thru tour of there operation. I was like Hell yeah!! The place was amazing, I ran out of memory space on my card. I spent about 45 minutes in there, place is huge. At the end she gave me T-shirts for me and my kids. They're hospitality and generosity was unforgettable .

These pics really dont show the detail they put into they're work. there is a lot of sanding going on in the facility so all the mounts are very dusty.

Gray's do amazing work. Here is another custom job they did for the city of Weldon. NC. A GIANT Striped Bass, now hanging as a centerpiece in the town. http://graytaxidermy.com/images/weldon-rockfish-large-2.jpg

Welton bass capital???? That's funny, they have to be 100 mi away from the outer banks.
Cool mount though.

That place looks really cool. A sign of a good company is regardless of the fact that they don't have a showroom they still let you walk through. The mount of the striper looks like it was just pulled out of the water!
