I swear by Technu.

It's instant relief and an excellent preventitive wash if you know you've been exposed. You can find it at Wally World and any drug store.

define good? you'll need some prednisone- via a prescription
which is the fastest way (typically a 3-4 day turn around )
by turn around i mean looks like its no longer advancing
calamine lotion the "pink stuff" is for drying it up

a good idea is to wear clothing while sleeping at first
until you've beaten the URISHOL oil - transfer problem

AT the Hanover healthfood store
see if they have brewer's yeast powder
that ya make brewer's yeast shakes with
or stir into milk ....helps as good as prednisone
to reverse it...

as i'd say your rather allergic if you
didn't make full contact but have it mysteriously
(you didn't pet a big dog recently have ya?)

check some of other threads Larry because there's talk about fels napa soap
the heavy yellow laundry BAR soap

yeah repeated salt water dips lets the SALT dry it out

If you really want to get rid of it fast you'll need a wire brush and some gasoline:eek:.

Technu claims to break this bond. I keep a bottle in the shower all summer and have avoided many eminent brakeouts and/or spreading what I already have. It was recomended to me by the crew of a logging company quite a few years ago:)

Treat Poison Ivy, Poison Oak Rash Relief - Tecnu Extreme | TecLabs (http://www.teclabsinc.com/store/poison-oak-ivy/tecnu-extreme)

Also, If you know you've been in it, wash all of your clothes immediately (including your shoes and laces). Urishiol oil can last on them for weeks, and will be transferred back to your hands then elsewhere.

I like the following if it's somewhat tolerable

CALADRYLŪ CLEARŪ Anti-Itch Lotion | CALADRYLŪ (http://www.caladryl.com/caladryl-clear-anti-itch-lotion)

If it spreads to my hands or even gets close to my face, I hit the doctors and get a steroid pack.

I heard Tartar Sauce works great on it. If you don't have any, there's a recipe for it a couple threads down. :rotflmao:

Technu, best ever invented. Great to wash with this time of the year after working
around the garden as the leaves aren't out yet and you touch the stems
without knowing it.

The warmer weather the last week or two, out with short sleeve tee-shirt and gloves working around the house, have it on both arms. Now I have to find it and get rid of it.
