I can live w/o winning. But having everyone else at work win and me having to do all their work b/c I didn't participate would really suck.

My better half is in a pool of about twenty people. I buy up to five when it gets stoopid numbers like this. Banzai Pipeline theory says you can't catch a wave just standing on the beach....

I've always said that S-B should have a pool for the big ones.... Buy the Cuttyhunk Fishing Club and divide the rest.....

People's lives change dramatically when they win a lottery. Most end up broke in 5 years.
I read an article recently that said the first things to do, if you were to win a large sum of money, is the change your phone number get a GOOD attorney, get a Good accounting firm and put the majority of the money into trust funds for family members. In other words, tie up most of the money in long term, tax free investments for family members.
That way you are not tempted to spend it on frivolities like new boats, houses in the Keys, private jets, etc.

I already won!!! I bought a pack of butts some gum and 5 tickets. I gave the clerk a $20 and he gave me $13 back. I handed him the $10 back and he said he already gave me my change back? I said no this if for the tickets. He said no you already paid. After waiting in line for 10 minutes at 5:30 in the am and having a line behind me I said screw it I tried twice and I'm not gonna argue. I said wow thanks alot have a great morning.

I don't do casinos and games (other than slots for a night once every few years in Vegas when visiting the outlaws) as I usually lose. So rather than loose $300-500 in a night at a casino that I could EASILY do :smash::love: I drop a couple hundred per year in lottery tickets. Takes my impulse and poor gambling decision capability - particularly when alcohol is rumored to be involved (once lost and regained a 260Z in on a card table) - and turns it into some light fun gambling with little ability to screw it up. All at a low annual cost.

i bought 2 tickets yesterday. I play once every 5 yrs or so when these big jackpots come up.
