Can you mount 2 individual dual-beam transducers on the transom? If so how far apart? What's the likelihood of x-talk?
Specs #1: 50/200 kHz, 10-40d cone angle, 500W
Specs #2: 77/200 kHz, 60-120d cone angle, 500W/4,000W
when i tried it i got a ton of interference on 1 unit

What Niko said. no dice. It requires sophisticated rigging so they don't interfere... when we tow side-scan (500 kHz) the single-beam has to be turned off (both 50 and 200 interfere)

Thanks. That is what I thought would happen but needed to ask.

Just put them each on different frequencys one on 77 and the other on 200
I have 4 machines. a koden 50Hz in the tower, another scitex 120 on the dash, the garmin 50/200 combo unit and a furuno 28/200 main fishfinder they are fine. Only interference is when I have the same frequencys going

I ran two but they were different frequency and did not have a problem. Before installing I called the company and asked them and they said it will work. I think if they are the same freq though you are hosed.
