Fly Rod 05-19-2003, 05:18 PM Give Surfland Bait & tackle a call 1-978-462-4202 They know what's going on in the Merrimac I know that the schoolies were abundant this past week as were the shad. Meadow 05-19-2003, 06:18 PM We pulled in five fish from 28 - 31 inches in Lawrence early yesterday morning. Steve K 05-20-2003, 09:11 AM Definitely call Surfland for up to the minute reports. BTW, Plum Island is in MA. Plum Island 05-20-2003, 09:41 AM Plum Island isn't in NH......it's in MA :) Schoolies are here in full force, and many keepers being taken from the island too :) leakyrivot 05-20-2003, 11:38 AM I was just there last night & can confirm that - schoolies in, one rumor of a keeper taken yesterday. The crowds have arrived.. I couldn't catch #^&#^&#^&#^& on live or fresh chunk herring, clams and bucktails worked very well though; why is beyond me. Yes, PI is in MA ;).. Adamfishes 05-20-2003, 02:06 PM are there any reports of sand eels down at plum island? Do those things migrate or are they around all year?
