Caught Casablanca the other night from begining to end:
Bogie, Ingrid Bergman (what a beauty) and that rascally
pair, Peter Lorre and Claude Raines. What a flix, 1942,
70 years old this year. There were some great things
from those days. Youse probably can't remember that far
back, so allow me a sentimental moment,

Duke Ellington--Take the A Train,
Count Basie--One O'clock Jump,
Satchmo Armstrong--Mack the Knife,
Dave Brubeck--Take Five.

Did I miss anything????

The Caine Mutiny

Brubeck's Take Five was released in the 1960s ;)

I have never watched a Bogart flick before this winter, when I lucked into 'To Have and Have Not'. What a great flick! and a smokin' Lauren Bacall ~

I liked it so much I bought a Bogart dvd pack of that, Casablanca, Key Largo and one other. Can't believe I never gave a Bogart flick a look. Timeless.
