Can anyone tell me what brand shower valve this is? I need to get a trim kit for it and I am not seeing any markings on this valve.

Before I do...I need to open up a few walls to access them...what valves do you recommend? Tell me more about the Kohler valves if you don't mind. leptar 04-23-2012, 02:04 PM I may end up replacing these old valves. Before I do...I need to open up a few walls to access them...what valves do you recommend? Tell me more about the Kohler valves if you don't mind. They are expensive... They have 2 safety features one is the balancing for pressure incase the cold water dies off and your in the shower it will balance the hot/cold so you don't get scalded... Now say you accidentally bump the shower and your hot water runs really hot say in the 140+ range.. This has a safety that will stop the water if it's too hot over 120F... What ever you get make sure it has anti scalding feature incase someone flushes or if you have a pressure loss.. better safe then sorry... fishaholic18 04-24-2012, 05:14 AM OK, Thanks. These valves seem to be working fine,,,and it's just me living in the house. So, maybe I will leave them alone for now. Thanks for the help. Raven 04-24-2012, 07:18 AM that's a four way connection i believe and ain't so easy , so if it ain't broke... go fishin instead Dave :) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
