Anyone missing a kayak or know who's this is?

I didn't hear, but did they specify if it was flooded?
The reason is simple: a flooded kayak means the occupant probably flipped it and may or may not have swam to shore.
A "dry" cockpit usually means that the kayak drifted away on its own, probably from the rain that would have raised the water lever in that river/stream.
I certainly hope that no loss of life will be the result, but I also like to know that emergency services/people are not on a wild goose chase that may take them away from a real emergency.
But once again, I hope this ends well!!!

That entire river is tidal, so let's hope it was just someone who left their kayak below the high tide mark. That area doesn't need another horrible incident in the aftermath of this missing two year old at long beach....
