Spud Tyler used a Batson 1088 all year last year I got from Slip...nice rod. He caught quite a few nice sized fish on that last year with no problem.

Bought from Luds... you're right. Saw the 'ri" in your signature and just figured. I have the same 9' blank as a conventional and it is a great blank. Maybe CMS built it if it came from Luds. Tell him to call me if you talk with him by the way. Good luck great price on a great plugging rod.
