i assume they are leaking and or clogged with maple squiggles and junk

if you replace them i may be interested in re-using the old ones (a few lengths)
for the back side of my place depending on what they are of course.

pics would help

what are they though ? Plastic, wood, metal?

have a wood one up top and some sections of plastic here

don't matter really -ain't my place but a working gutter would be nice.... out back

getting ready to add a half arch lean- too (not attached-seasonal ) shade cloth screen
enclosure out back and it would be nice to fix the no gutter there....... situation first....

I have them and love them. Used a guy Progress Seamless Gutters in Rutland MA. Very nice work and reasonable. Dad used him a few years ago. Believe the son took over but same great results. Took about 1 hour to do the house. Very satisfied! Look them up. Believe the guys name is Dom

I think they're functional and not terribly expensive. A few lessons learned from mine...

If you have any roof drip edges that are not level make sure they know. We had one section of roof that visually looked level and as such the way they mounted the gutter one end collected water.

I would assume that any decent installer would use proper hardware, but I noticed a few screws one ours were not coated and ended up popping off...and this was supposed to be a decent installer.
