Saturday was a slow day so I decided to set out and sample at a couple of beer pubs in Cambridge. First stop was Lord Hobo and it was outstanding. My gold medal at this stop was a Sculpin IPA made by ? It was a slammer. Next we traveled to Mead Hall to visit their 100 taps. The Saison Du Buff was so good I tried it twice Mmmmmmm. For ambiance it was unanimous that Lord Hobo provided plenty of comfort vs. the cafeteria known as Mead Hall. Next on the list is Deep Ellum in Arlington which was recommended by staffers at each establishment.

PS :saison du buff is a farmhouse style brewed by Stone,Dogfish Head, and Victory. Same recipe for all three but different release dates. All masters of their craft.

Looks like you hit for the Cambridge cycle! Except maybe add Brick and Mortar for Pretty Things and very nice ambiance.

A day well spent by any measure. Bravo sir!

That is one thing that saddens me about where I live...no outstanding beer bars/pubs.

Coddington Brewery is a decent place, just wish they had a bigger selection.
