The kiln temps used to dry the stock are not high to "set" the resin and some bleeding may occur. I would suggest micro waving pieces for plugs to a temp of 180-200 to fix the resins.... smelly procedure though. A wash coat of thinnned epoxy has worked for me on milled stock, but have noticed the bleed through on the opposite side. Ed Eric Roach 06-11-2012, 06:44 AM Thank you very much, Ed. I'll try your suggestions and post the results Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device ed morini 06-12-2012, 04:45 AM Eric, If you use a thinned epoxy use acetone as a thinner 60-40 epoxy to thinner. The acetone will delay setting time to usually 48 hrs, but DO Not use this indoors and make sure to avoid the fumes. Ed vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
