The other day at the Canal a guy showed me an idea that works great. He uses replacement finger nails that women use on some small swimmers roughly 5/8 diamiter. He gets the larger replacement fingernails used by many of our loved ones to replace broken finger nails.
He traces the curve of the back of the nail and cuts along it with a dremel tool then epoxys the repalcement fingernail in the groove. He says they hold up pretty good. The ones he showed me swam nice. Sorry I left the camera in the buggy what with the wind an rain so got no pics. Just had to pass the idea along.Looked like a good idea. Tight lines Ron:fishin:

plastic shampoo (or similar) bottles can easily be cut into lips too. Guys used to use them to replace broken lips on rebels.
