Beavertail is a great place to fish and dive, but get too close to the tail and it will spank you.

Cool story, and neat photos. I witnessed a 42' Egg go down at Brenton Point a few years ago.

It must have been a gut wrenching experience, especially when the Coast Guard left the scene.
