Never played with a Premier. Need a rod for pencils, if it is parabolic in your opinion, I'll take it for the asking price.

this is an excellent rod for the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 oz plugs. i fish mainly spooks, needles, and pencils. that's what i bought the rod for.
