Hello,

I fished the 5.25 smack-it plug today and the response was immediate. I arrived at the South Shore (Nantucket), hooked up a 5 1/4, one cast, one 20 lb fish. Took 10+ more fish over the next hour. Love these things. Cast great, pop better and look just like a herring.

Thank you whoever led me to them. I caught a thread a couple of weeks ago raving about them. Decided to buy a couple (dozen !). Really glad I gave them a try.

I know a few of you scuppers make your own and they look excellent. Can somebody remind who the local turners are ?

glad to see them.....now they will be a future quest. Stopped by the shop mike but you were closed but it was fun looking thru the windows...kinda like lookin at pastry thru a bakery window when you're real hungry. i'll be back....famous last words....of Arnold Swartzenager...he and i share the same birthday in fact :kewl:
