we had our renovation area insulated yesterday by a spray foam insulator Contractor yesterday (the owner is a big FW fly fisherman)... this stuff looks great to me... we had the floor and walls done and the roof above our family room. They say it is great to prevent ice dams as the roof stays uniformly cold. We plan to do the main attic when we add A/C on the 2nd floor on our next project when we can afford it.

They spray it in the "bays" and after it expands/cures they shave it off flush with the front of the studs with a saw. The out-gasing from the previous generation of foam is no longer a problem...

Anyone else used this stuff in their homes?

That would be open cell foam. About 1# per cf. It is not a vapor barrier but will slow air movement. We use closed cell which is 2# per cf and if you spray 2" is also a vapor barrier. R for closed cell is almost 7 per inch, open cell is about half.
That said both are far better than fiberglass, google R-value myth.
