HP laptop is getting very hot on left side. Almost too hot too have on my lap....I this a symptom of something about to happen? Any thoghts?

Which reminds me, you guys should all clean out the lint in your dryer vents this weekend. Can't open the cover plate without removing the trim surrounding the whole keyboard....
