Good luck! I remember when we were told to go in so they could induce my wife. It was a month early and we didn't know if it was going to be a girl or boy. We had no names picked out, didn't have the house ready, or anything else and we were fine. You're gonna do great!

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone who dressed up for a baby birthin'. On the other hand I never heard of anyone doing what I did for our first one. I was a COBOL programmer at the time and in great detail, I flow charted every step of the labor and birth process and taped it on the hospital wall. Even the doctor was impressed I had captured it flawlessly.

What luck do you need? The mom is doing all the work.

It was a crazy last 24 hours! Ricky was pretty close with the specs. Rappin Kerry Elizabeth Bombardier. 9.3# 21" born at 3:11. Two hours before they decided to take things into the scalpels hands, I got a call from a perspective new employer. Out of 50 applicants, I was chosen as the new Vice Principal for Kelly School in Holyoke. Only a five minute walk to the Fish Ladder. You know where I'll be spending my mornings before work come May and June. I'll be getting those kids ready for the Shad Tourny too on some experiential trips. I guarantee one of my guys win the jr division every year. Until RK starts slinging some darts. Thanks for all the kind words!!

Only problem is she is already trying out how to give me the finger.

Happened to me about 3 years ago, life as you knew it......will NEVER be the same. It's AWESOME, BUT DIFFERENT.

Congratus on the job too, but remember, the VP is the guy who does most of the work...not the Principal himself. Start prepping yourself for the next step. Principal!!

Congrats! Words can't decribe how wonderful it is to exeperience the birth of your child. I thought it was going to be less exciting after the first but they are all just as good. I will share what a woman nieghbor in Southie told me after the birth of my daughter. Anyone can make a boy, it takes a real man to knock the balls off. Good luck and enjoy! :uhuh:
