I did about 80 long overdue updates to all my microsoft programs and now IE will not save my passwords. I'm sure its just a question of checking some box but where is the right box? :)

Go to Tools > Options > Advanced: First try Restore Advanced Settings and if that doesn't work, choose to reset IE to default condition Saltheart 09-01-2012, 12:25 PM unchecked delete history on exit. Now the passwords stay put. 'Funny thing but I always had delete history on exit checked but it did not delete my passwords. So maybe now after the updates that feature is actually working? :) Zeal 09-01-2012, 02:42 PM Don't bother with IE, use Firefox.
