Just beautiful work from so long ago.....my way of paying homage' to just a few of my favorites! Still working on the CCBC Surf Darter and a few others! Can't think of a better way to while away the winter than knocking off a few classics for the upcoming season!! I really enjoyed working on these!:uhuh:

I fished one of those small Gibbs poppers I built a few years back in the canal today. An original was given to me by Flaptail, S. S.

Any luck with it Paul? I keep one in my plug bag to toss along the bank when things are slow or fish are pushing small bait towards the rocks!

no luck Lawrence but I did take a 43 inch fish on one in Barnstable a few years back. Fish swallowed it to it's bung hole.

it was a boat fish too. Probably would not of landed it if I had to pull it so hard from shore with those little hooks and screw eyes.
