I am in the lows of a lousy home buying experience!!! And it may only get worse. I always appreciate being lied to by realtors!!! Makes me very happy. Anyone out there have had a lousy home buying experience???

Sincerly,

sick to my stomach, with a pinch of migraine

When we bought our house we had numerous arguments with the seller. He was the biggest pain in the butt ever. He had the house on the Market for 18 months. The reaosn it was on so long was he was aking way too much. Apparently he overpaid for it in the late 80's and wanted his money back. I bought a 92 year old victorian, he had bought it in pristine condition then did nothing for 10 years. It needed alot of work when he was selling it. We argued over everything, the roof, heat, plumbing and electric. I was not sure the deal was going to happen until it was signed it took 4 months to get it all wrapped up. It was very stressful, da wife was crying constantly as I played hard ball with the seller. All in all I love the house but I would not want to go through that hell again, when we signed the deal the seller was so miserable, I guess I would be too if I had to write a check for 40,000$ to the mortagage company becasue he sold for far less than he owed. Morale of the story fight it out stick to your guns and get the best deal for yourself....it also helped tha the realtor was great, he has sold me and my wife 2 homes and handled the sale or purchase for 5 of our feinds transactions.....

John, sorry to hear the house thing isn't going well, just don't let it get you down, just rememeber "when its meant to be it will happen", maybe this one just wasn't meant to be. I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason, so you and the wife just hang in there!!!

Thanks all, I just want to remove some of the boards "forbidden" words to speak my mind and then reinstate them but I won't... I has just been hell. We are still in the running but I really hate being lied to...

How do you know when a real estate agent is lying? Their lips are moving! Too often true. Hope it works out John.

The main problem is that in the whole darn process, the only person looking out for you is you. There isn't a soul that's on your side. Dude, good luck and let me know if I can help in any way. Call Mrs. Schoolie Monster and she'll get a hold of me. Off to Nantucket within a few moments, I'll hammer some fish for ya down at Wagger... I mean Brant Point. Latah!
