Ha-ha, one of the guys I was fishing with last night found one in that exact spot. You should be able to pick it up this weekend. Oh ya, darters work well there on the drop.

So I shouldn't cut that Korker apart to use the straps for my new eel jug?

Only if you are making a new eel jug for Joe.

It's amazing how many korkers block has sucked off surfcaster boots. Seems when I find them they're always a "right" foot. If someone would lose a left foot I'd have a backup pair.

Tip: use white or bright colored laces on them - if they fall off you'll sometimes be able to see them in the swirling water/wash a lot easier.

BTW: Nice of you to post - lots of local CT surfcasters out there last week.

I always put duct tape over my Korkers. People look at me and always ask why I do it.

the new model Rocktrax and Castrax have a strap that is long enough to double around the back of your ankle and clip on the front, the Korker should never slip off unless the clip somehow comes undone, never had that happen on any of my korkers over the years....you can upgrade the old styles that have either laces or straps by purchasing similar straps in the camping section at Walmart for about 2 bucks, the are long and have similar clips and will allow you to strap around the back of your ankle and clip on the front keeping them pretty secure, did this on my older models and never had a problem and I stumble, trip, fall and wade and do all of the things that might cause them to accidentally come undone .....

that or zipties works, pretty much what everyone in mtk w/o studded boots does
