Posting this here, not sure where this topic may be more appropriate. Anyways, who knows about taking a RV motorhome on the Cape Cod National Seashore at Race Point? I used to take my truck out there quite a bit and know they are (were?) allowed. What type of motorhome/RV can do this? Does it require special modifications beyond airing down? Are the permits very hard to get?

Anyways, I appreciate any info you have!

If you camp out there for a few days, I hope it's just to seal watch and enjoy the salty air. Hardly a bass caught out there this year.

Hope you don't plan on swimming. That is probably next to Chatham, the most polluted water on the cape. Sealshyt.

Always amazed me how those big rigs without 4-wheel drive could air down and drive over the sand.

Move in 60 ft of water and we cleaned up.

If you are going to do this as a vacation do it in August. Many times the SCV area has been moved out to the province lands visitor center due to plovers etc. just don't want you to get all geared up for it and spend the time In a parking lot

Hoop check out Sandy Neck as well. RV's are allowed and there are far fewer seals! I believe it's about 6 miles long.

Don't even bank on August. There has been years when I haven't got back out there till Sept. If I were you, I would shoot for early/mid June.
