(With that you could get to the Vineyard/Cutty/Block without paying the ferry fee!!!!) tysdad115 11-01-2012, 11:19 AM Why not just cast it? Jackbass 11-01-2012, 11:34 AM Easier than yak casting the only way I would buy one is if I could have it mounted in the bed of my truck with multiple barrels. That you could aim and adjust the trajectory with hydraulics. ReelinRod 11-01-2012, 08:52 PM Distance capability for those contraptions is wildly exaggerated. Logistics are a pain . . . You need to keep the bait/sinker 'cartridge' frozen solid so you either need a freezer or dry ice for fishing a tide. Bait choices are limited to what you put up earlier in the freezer . . . How many do you bring and waste if they thaw out even a little bit? For what they cost you could buy a high performance distance fishing set up and exceed what that Rube Goldberg can do (with practice of course). vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
