Well I fish like a mad man like most people on here, From rock hopping, to the canal. My wife aint really into getting suited up and fishing like I am. But I knew a spot where she could dress down and still hook some nice fish, so I took her with me and I made her tie her leader and hook(eels I had to put on..lol) but after a few tosses she landed some descent fish. I very proud of her and she had the biggest smile on here face. But I made a great dinner and put some in the freezer for my winter striper fix. But Watching my wife pull in a striper was amazing dont happen to often but when I can have the love of my life doing something with me that I love always puts a smile on my face. She out fished me that night and also someone else I was with (who got skunked) :( wont mention no names..lol. But Just wanted to share the story with you guys.

One of the best sentences I have ever read on this site.

It is very rare for a husband and wife to share a hobby. Fishing...even more rare.

Congrats on your catch, she's a keeper!

I'm sure he will charm in...Not Jay.Not only outfished by my own wife on most occasions but now getting lessons from friends wifes as well! Bye the way there were only three fish in that pond so Jay woulda been skunked too.

Every time Fishbones takes his wife fishing she comes back with a big, red snapper.

I like the bloody bass, white shirt and white vest.

You've got to be a pro to catch and keep those clean.

I don't know what you're laughing at. Everyone knows those weren't cold sores you came back from that ice fishing trip last winter with.

nice work!

I have found that women are pretty particular about their clothing even when fishing. My wife insisted on getting "women's waders" because they were "cut for a women" (when clearly ***any*** waders would have worked, because they barely get wet anyway). In the end, I have found that it is pointless to argue about any type of clothing with women...just let them get what they want. So we special ordered the women's waders" (actually she looks pretty nice in them ) And as it turns out, you will get what you want with less hassle...(fishing tackle wise that is)
