The Boston Herald this morning reported that one little boy in the classroom grabbed his buddy when the gunman walked in and they ran out the door, to the school outside, then ran a half mile to downtown Newtown when they were picked up by a first responder and dropped off at a fire station. That story is the only place I heard that. Would be nice if it is true and not BS.
I cannot imagine the horror any parent would feel when they ran into the Fire Station looking for thier child and they weren't there. The immeasurably empty feeling that must completely overtake them emotionally and physically is too hard to fathom.
