View Full Version : Florida, settling In!
Hey SB!!!!!! Happy New Year to you all! So It's now two weeks since I've been here. Had a few cold fronts come thru and thats why you will see me in waders and a hoodie. Other then that the temps have been around 75-80 during the day high 40-50 at night. I have to admit the fishing has been fun. Even found my old buddy the bluefish here to make it feel somewhat like home lol. Lots of snook, spanish macks, redfish, trout and the list goes on. Love learning new waters! even a visit from my buddy Tim. Caught his first snook and was hooked. They are awesome! The wildlife is pretty crazy as well and the sunsets and rises amazing. well I'll just let the pictures do the talking.......There's a lot of em so bare with me! Hope all is well and its not to cold.
Middle pic has two dolphins eyeing my bluefish....... I hate the dolphins!!!!!

Finaddict 01-08-2013, 08:41 PM Roy - Some nice sheepshead, good eating.
If you are ever short on time, but finding yourself near the Sanibel Causeway, try the Bunche Beach area for a low incoming tide for wading for reds, I have done well there in the past, and caught other fish there as well. It's right off Summerlin Road just before the causeway onto Sanibel - I think it's called John Morris Rd or something like that.
