View Full Version : Portly Angler 2013
JohnR 01-06-2013, 08:41 AM Sorry as I have been super busy, even with several friendly reminders to get my bleep in gear. But we should kick this off soon. Sooooo;
Its that time of year - S-B Portly Angler competition ;) . Have you found yourself in this position before?
Waders losing watertight integrity?
Looking more and more like a Gray Seal to Great Whites?
Wearing your wetsuit on new moons only?
Canal Bike slowing down more going up the hills?
Have you been asking yourself:
"Does this wetsuit make me look fat?"
Knock down some of that spare tire, and join S-B members Biggest Friekin' Looser competition a/k/a the Portly Angler
2009 winner - ZachS
2010 winner - JRedfly
2011 winner - Kearp1
2012 winner - NewJack
Cost, is one plug to winner. How will be determined in the next couple weeks.
When does it begin? Officially: Sunday January 13th - Ends Sunday June 2nd.
Weekly weigh ins?
Track percentage lost with greatest percentage winning.
No surgical or like methods. A friend had lap band surgery and lost 80 pounds in a couple months mostly due to the resulting infection that he almost died from. This doesn't mention the nasty operation needed to get the infection under control.
What else?
Who's in:
Me
Sure. Why not.
Weighing in at 275 at the moment.

jredfly 01-06-2013, 11:29 AM I'm In! :jump1:
I always say I'm in then bail, but I'm happy to report that of all the 70lbs I lost last year, i've only put ten back on. So I will be less militant this off-season at the gym and just keep up the maintenance. But I do need to get my endurance going for the Boston TM in May. Good luck to everyone....
RickBomba 01-06-2013, 02:39 PM I'm in. Started at the gym last week. Psyched that my company moved, so I can get to the gym in the AM before I walk to the train.
not in this year, but i'm pretty sure i owe a plug from last year still...:smash:
who won again?

justintrask 01-07-2013, 12:02 PM I'm in - 228 last check, but will check again at the gym tonight. I bailed last year, but I'm in this year.
Matt D 01-10-2013, 10:02 AM Why not. I'm in. An extra bit of motivation can't hurt.
Slingah 01-12-2013, 09:55 AM Post your starting weights on SUNDAY the 13th and I'll update weekly. You can PM me if you like instead. Send JohnR a plug and he will PM me when it arrives.
Good luck men!
JohnR 01-13-2013, 12:30 PM Good luck Gents!
jredfly 01-13-2013, 10:09 PM In at 176. Thanks Slingah for running this it is greatly appreciated. I actually started losing weight 3 years ago which resulted directly from joining the portly angler. I am 55 years old and have lost over 50 pounds, so that means anyone can do it too. It's all about getting healthy so we can increase our chances of being here for our friends and family for a very long time. Plus I just don't want to be breathing in my 80s I want to be living in my 80s.
Good Luck everyone! :)
JohnR 01-14-2013, 10:24 AM 332 - back is not helping.

RickBomba 01-18-2013, 06:31 PM Matt,
I was nice and heavy 240 last weekend after Xmas tree party on Sunday.
Rick
Slingah 01-20-2013, 07:41 PM I just updated with the weights that everyone posted.
jredfly 01-21-2013, 10:59 PM Sorry I 'm late, computer issues.
Up 1.5 at 177.5. Worked my butt off this week, ran a total of 30 miles and stuck to meal plan. Sounds like I need a new meal plan and nutritionist. A friend of mine says never trust a chubby nutritionist.
JohnR 01-22-2013, 07:19 AM 330 :wall:
BrianS 01-22-2013, 11:54 AM +2 352 D'oh long weekend
Slingah 01-27-2013, 08:05 AM Are we doing weekly weigh ins?
jredfly 01-27-2013, 08:53 AM I was going to weigh in weekly but today I am not so sure. In at 181 up 3.5 pounds WTF. :smash:
Pretty much stuck to diet and worked out, not happy.
Its weeks like this you just want to give up but I guess I will just put in a few extra miles today and see how it goes. :wall:
JohnR 01-27-2013, 09:01 AM If we can - 330 - no loss no gain
Slingah 01-27-2013, 10:27 AM 215#
I will weigh in later today. I am scared as I have been on an IPA diet.

True. And hey.. It's a non-fat diet too :)

If he had entered (I think he posts here as liketofish), the winner for 2012 would have been Bull from Red Top. If you haven't seen him in awhile, you may not recognize him.
jredfly 02-01-2013, 10:16 PM Hey, with the all the Superbowl food that we are going to be tempted with do you think we should take a week off from weigh-ins? Otherwise I'm weighing in early.

Slingah 02-05-2013, 09:20 PM I was 216# on Sunday.
Matt D 02-06-2013, 10:32 AM Forgot about this. Weighed 244 on Sunday, before overeating during the SB.
Now that football is over I'll have to come up with a different excuse.
jredfly 02-10-2013, 12:05 AM Eating a lot of bad food, being snowed in like this.
It is not going to be a pretty weigh-in tomorrow night. :wall:
jredfly 02-11-2013, 12:02 AM In at 181, I'll take after being inactive with my sciatica and eating a little too much from being snowed in. :wall:
Adam_777 02-16-2013, 08:20 AM Keep it up guys.I also participated in this one year.
jredfly 02-17-2013, 02:47 PM Inactivity due to sciatica and eating a little crappy with hanging in during theses storms haven't helped with the weight loss. I was able to hit the pool for some swimming that probably helped me from adding some pounds. In again at 181.
Next weekend is TFCTGFN with all that good food, not looking good for a big loss week! :wall:
Slingah 02-17-2013, 03:03 PM took a week off of exercise and ate my face off due to birthday, valentines and anniversary....cakes, candy, restaurants etc....
no loss...but no gain! 216#

Matt D 03-21-2013, 03:20 PM Treading water at 244. I've been on the puke your toes out diet the last 2 days. Thought for sure that would knock a few pounds off but no dice.

jredfly 03-24-2013, 09:32 PM I'm glad I didn't join I've gained 10 pounds sense I quit smoking
I quit smoking 21 years ago, it was the hardest thing I ever did. It was also one of the best things I ever did. Hang in there, addictions can be tough. Remember smoking will kill you, we tend to forget this when the compulsion kicks in. Just found out a guy I knew who was in his 40s just died from it. Stay Tough!
jredfly 03-24-2013, 09:35 PM In at 171 this week. Want to see 16something by next Sunday.

your going to gain weight...I gained 25 lbs. I just lost it all and am back to pre-quitting weight. Losing the weight was hard work, but not as hard as quitting those coffin nails......don't look back, smoking is no longer an option Bob.
I've been lacking on the work outs and am up a pound or 3 this week....blaming Ben & Jerry....

jredfly 05-18-2013, 09:02 PM NO posts since 5/6 - I would say the Portly Angler is now officially DEAD. May he rest in peace. :fishslap:

i flat lined like .............forever
at 250 lbs-------------- always the same
then suddenly BAM >>> 280 <<<
the cute blond @ the doctor's office SAID
and that's where i said this has gotta change!
i drew a line in the sand! declaring WAR
now i am loosing close to a pound per day
eating only just two meals a day
kicked away all the junk food
especially cookies and sweets
zero beer especially after 2 pm
not eating wheat really as much
shrinking my portions
less snacking more fluids
taking the raspberry keytones
working real hard in the garden
making sure i burn more calories
than i'm taking in.... is finally WORKING
Zero beer? Good god man.

Raven 05-19-2013, 03:44 PM well i know zero beer sounds awfully harsh
but i no longer belch, fart, or burp due to it
we're saving Money....no more returns...
and Since i quit drinking beer i haven't had a migraine
period....those i surely don't miss.
that doesn't mean the wine doesn't flow freely @ home
and you can mix it with fruit juice to increase
the digestion of it... an added benefit.
Raven 05-19-2013, 03:47 PM 268 pounds (just weighed in on the digital)
i won't stop til i hit 200
that''l be taking 40 pounds off each foot
when i walk...

Raven 06-07-2013, 08:48 PM i have been taking the green coffee bean extract
and the raspberry keytones for extra weight loss
and they appear to be working.... less of an inch to pinch
and i am getting abs back and much stronger too................

Hi Raven - How is that green coffee bean extract, is it like a caffeine pill that will make you jittery all day or is it a little healthier?
Raven 06-17-2013, 11:45 AM I haven't noticed the jitters from it thus far
occasionally if my blood sugar gets to low
I can experience the jitters especially if I had something
with sugar and i'm crashing off the sugar rush
if ya want legal speed that's healthy for you
then use Korean ginseng
its funny on CNN they're saying "now" that corn syrup sweetener
is as addictive as cocaine is....
so then why isn't the DEA investigating the FDA for allowing
it into the American food supply given the level of obesity
that this nation is experiencing.... it's a conspiracy is why.
Saltheart 06-17-2013, 12:32 PM 255 Down 52 in two years. Would like to break 250 by my 60th birthday. Just a continuous battle. The minute you think you have it beaten you will go up ten and wonder "what happened?"! :)

Great job! When is your birthday? We will all be pulling for you, keep it going.
Raven 06-22-2013, 08:02 AM one thing i learned is that your stomache doesn't differentiate
between solid food and liquids so that you can quel hunger just by
drinking water "some" of the time.
wheat products are RIGGED to create hunger for more wheat products
:point: endlessly.
grapefruit and apples help you to loose weight by Stimulating your metabolism.
two meals a day and i loose weight , 3 meals a day i stay the same weight
Saltheart 07-10-2013, 01:52 PM Broke the 250 barrier this morning. Weighed in at 249.5 :) . My birthday (60) is Monday so I made my target 5 days early. Now as anyone who has dieted before knows , these weights fluctuate up and down by several pounds , especially on a larger person. I fully expect that I will go back and forth across the 250 barrier several times before I make another move down to 245. I remember 260 was up and down from 258 to 262 for 2 months as I plateaued out then eventually started losing again. You can't let it discourage you. For some reason that's how it happens so you just keep watching the diet and wait for another distinct move downward over time.
I think losing 10 more will put me in a position where the nice suits I had custom made for myself by a tailor while I was in Korea will fit again. Not that I ever get dressed up anymore (I should say seldom) but on those rare occasions it will be nice to get some more use out of them.
Anyway that's 57.5 pounds since August 2011. And the battle continues! :)
Guppy 07-10-2013, 04:57 PM Congrats Saltheart!!
For sure! Good for you and keep on keep on..:)

jredfly 08-19-2013, 06:05 PM Just thought I would take peek in to see what was going on.
Nice job Raven and Nebe!
Just did my first sprint triathlon, not bad for a fat old Irish guy.
Would have never thought this would be possible if it wasn't for starting the portly angler a few years back. :uhuh:
Raven 08-19-2013, 08:52 PM I've been learning allot about protein and how it is burned in the body as compared to carbohydrates , protein being three times stronger a burn so it's a much better fuel. That and the specific timing of when to have it for maximum effect with many of the refined sugar foods and empty carbs being phased out....
Adam_777 09-21-2013, 08:13 AM It is good to see you guys working on losing that gut.It is really bad for your health. It is also not as easy to lose as it used to be.I was in one of the PA challenges.I didn't win but I sure as hell lost a ton of weight.I went all in.Anyway I have been doing "Insanity" on and off for the better part of the year. That routine is brutal. Not recommended for anyone who doesn't enjoy pain for extended periods of time. The same dude that does Insanity just came out with a new workout in July named T25.It is 25 minutes of working out followed by 2-3 minutes of stretching. It is a nice workout and has a modified version for people with bad knees or can't jump.I do dread a little doing it but knowing it is only 25 minutes is a big help.Anyone on the fence about losing a few and doesn't want to go to a gym this works great. Not trying to sell this workout to anyone.Just saying it works well for me.Just have to stick with it,eat right and work through the little aches and pains.25 minutes a day is nothing. Most of us have tripled that just reading posts on this site.Anyway stick with it guys.Keep pushing.I am 5'11 180 ish pounds and gaining.I was able to stop taking 1 blood pressure pill and half of another. So I take half of one water pill a day to keep my BP in check.

Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device
Not sure I am up for the "official" sign up with all that pressure (though its probably what I need motivation wise):smash: BUT...lets just say someone has in the last 3-4 months gained back 15 of the 25 she lost. :(
Did not see much/any interest in a 2014 round ...So how about a thread for moral support but nothing "official" with entries and prizes? Maybe take it to a different level where we swap healthy smoothie recipes and weight loss tips? :) Something more of a "lets help each other" kind of thing as apposed to a contest? Good idea, bad idea?
JohnR 01-12-2014, 10:31 AM I am up for one but we have to simplify it. I don't have the spare time to properly run one at the moment
Sea Dangles 03-03-2014, 09:52 AM I started trying to be better about what I eat in mid-November because I told my friend he looked fat and he asked if I owned a mirror. It started with me swearing off ice cream (sorry ben n jerry) and potato chips. After my evening dog walk which always included a bowl of diesel I would eat a pint or a bag or both. This is after the kids are in bed but I know they are not stupid. I weighed 246 at the time and felt like crap so I started using the health membership I have had for the last 15 years. I would do the eliptical for 30 minutes or run 3 miles at a slow (30 min)pace.
Last week I saw 229 and although I am not Sochi ready,I feel a lot better. I am thinking I may expand my workouts to include weights, which I have never done in my 49 years.I just got a pair of 38" pants which I haven't seen in years. I still cheat on occasion and I am having a hard time with the next step which is cutting down on the pot.Although it is only a few hits a day, it has become a habit that is hard to break. For the first time in a LONG time I am without a bag and find myself thinking of a reason to get one. I don't really have a goal other than to feel good but so far it is working.
I'm not a pot smoker, but if you stop smoking, I'm sure that you will find yourself replacing it with another habit. If I were you, I stop drinking beer and keep on toking.
Congrats on loosing what you have lost! It's a hard battle.

Sea Dangles 03-03-2014, 12:00 PM I really like beer and would much rather have something I enjoy than the gay Bud Platinums my friends drink. Beer isn't really bad for you although it is heavy on calories. If used in moderation, which is 95% of the time,it won't be a problem. I had a nice shed IPA with dinner last night and it really hit the spot.I can honestly take it or leave it at this point but the dubage can become consuming whether mentally or physically.I am really not trying to eliminate it,just cut down and not always have it around to tempt me.Playing disc golf a few times a week in addition to ice fishing a few times a week give me too many opportunities to light up.Dare say it;I may even consider a job! Just got back from the gym and an hour on the eliptical burned 775 calories that a corned beef added to my bikini body last night.
bassballer 03-03-2014, 01:21 PM Seadangles. Nothing wrong with a little toking if you can control the eating. Start lifting weights!!! Functional movements. Deadlifts, Kettlebell swings, squats, push ups, pull ups. You sustain more of a calorie burn longer by strenght training. Mix in some high intensity cardio instead of the 30 min low int. If unsure on movents do some you tubing for instruction. Give it 8 weeks and i think youll be shocked on the results. Losing fat is awesome, and adding some functional muscle is even better.
Sea Dangles 03-03-2014, 03:43 PM In three months I am now running 3 miles in under 27 minutes. That is not low intensity for a 49 year old fat guy!I get my heart rate up to 150 and end up looking like I just hopped in the pool.I feel great, especially considering my hip is barely 2 years old.Not trying to stop smoking, just slow it down, after 30 something years of blazing I kind of have that figured out.I think some pushups and squats sound like a good idea, maybe I'll even try the rowing thing that I put my coat on.
ThrowingTimber 03-03-2014, 04:16 PM Good Stuff Chris, especially with the hip only 2 years. With all that running make sure you stretch and do some sort of strength training so all those other accessory muscles get a chance to develop as well.
Body weight movements will be good until you decide to throw some weights around etc. push-ups start 3 sets of 15 increase (+5 weekly) 3 days a week, sit-ups 20 (+5 weekly) 3 days a week, air squats, pullups, wall walks etc . With all that running you have to keep your posterior chain strong or your hip will pay, squats are your friend. Foam roller, foam roll the #^&#^&#^&#^& out of your IT band.
For some strength stuff look into: Starting Strength, and Jim Wendler's 5,3,1 both excellent programs. With 5,3,1 you will find it is SLOW but you're constantly making new gains you'll be able to run on that program for quite a while. By the time you're done/bored with 5,3,1 you'll already have a clear decision as to what your next move with strength will be.
I was the same way I'd never touched a barbell in 33 years and when I wanted to exercise I did'nt really know how, good coaching goes a long way and good luck!
bassballer 05-06-2014, 03:49 PM TT started the 5-3-1 last month. So far Im digging it. Ive had trouble keeping muscle on while leaning down and the 531 has helped with that.
ThrowingTimber 07-08-2014, 11:49 AM Take a look at the black iron beast calculator, you can enter what you have for plates etc and it makes it super simple for you. It also has an off season for mass program that you may find helpful.
I find that printing out week 1-4 makes it a no brainer, the print outs help me because on 5+ day I note what my + ended up being. Its super helpful, I will say I've added 40# to my front squat following it.
Raven 07-28-2014, 04:32 AM Not sure I am up for the "official" sign up with all that pressure (though its probably what I need motivation wise):smash: BUT...lets just say someone has in the last 3-4 months gained back 15 of the 25 she lost. :(
Did not see much/any interest in a 2014 round ...So how about a thread for moral support but nothing "official" with entries and prizes? Maybe take it to a different level where we swap healthy smoothie recipes and weight loss tips? :) Something more of a "lets help each other" kind of thing as apposed to a contest? Good idea, bad idea?
Watching sugar content in stuff
Is the most critical thing

bought some raw fit
"high protein for weight loss" burns fat -satisfies hunger-
fights cravings ect made by garden of life
freakin amazing how well it works
a word of caution or wisdom tho
as i read recently
don't be jumpin on the scale so often that you get depressed
when your weight is flat lining/ staying the same
better to keep making subtle changes to your diet
eliminate the starches that break down so slow
forget about desert for many moons
i have lost ten in the last two weeks :point:they were the tough ten too
the amount of Sugar that is SNUCK into our food supply is appalling
same as water injected into meat to get it to weigh more.....
take your reading glasses with you when you shop
because LABEL reading is a MUST
if you begin an exercise regiment such as walking
and you gain muscle mass from doing so....
you'll weigh more at first as you get into shape
then later feeling more fit... with a better physique
you'll start to BURN off your stored fat.... from chips and other junk food
piemma 04-11-2015, 10:57 AM Quit drinking (only drink wine 1 days a week anyway.)
Went on the NutraSystem diet on Feb 8th. As of Friday I was down 32#.
That's the upside. The downside is I really miss my one day a week of wine and grilled food. I am going to do some salmon on the grill today with grilled Summer Squash and Asparagus and a bottle of a good Hess Cab.
Raven 04-11-2015, 01:03 PM My wife keeps reducing our sugar consumption by altering all the recipes.
for example Banana bread now gets 1/4 cup of sugar instead of a full cup.
For apple and cinnamon pies and Tarts we use the "FUJI apples" that are
naturally sweet that almost taste like pears so we use ZERO Sugar and it tastes excellent.
For anything sweet we make sure to measure it..... especially coffee creamer .
piemma 04-11-2015, 03:55 PM Good advise.

Raven 04-14-2015, 06:36 AM another thing we have done
to ENSURE we are no longer sugar-aholics
is to make our OWN yogurt
so easy to do - with the thermometer
makes seven cups in 8 hours, with nice screw cap jars
pop-em in the fridge and we just stir in some chopped fruit
from the bullet ..........zero additives....
the 7th cup...is saved... we stir into the next batch of no. 2 milk
after the thermometer reads :point: on the green line
flip the switch - all done.

and of course PORTION CONTROL !!
But to anyone who's family is wanting to shed some pounds / improve health....
IMHO it'll never happen as long as there is SODA coke pepsi no matter if it's diet soda
if that's sitting in the fridge ... call a family meeting and END IT once and for all
SODA = SUGAR WATER

piemma 10-27-2017, 07:55 AM Well done Paul - how did you do it?
Started with Nutra System but the food sucked after 2 months. Then I just eliminated carbs. 2 things happen when you eliminate carbs:
One the weight falls off , at least for me.
Two, the triglycerides drop along with the bad cholesterol LDL.
The weight reduction along with a lot of exercise on my land really killed the cholesterol.
I have one of those step counters on my phone and I average 10K steps a day which translates to over 4 miles a day. Around 30 miles a week with no bread, pasta, potatoes, etc and the weight is staying off.
Funny thing is, and in reference to Chris's post about Charleston SC, you really have to watch what you eat when in the South. I was really banging down the barbeque, Crab cakes, fried foods in general last Winter. It will not happen again this winter as I feel so much better physically. My knees have actually stopped hurting but when you take over 50# off them it's a no brainer.

jredfly 02-09-2022, 09:06 AM I'm down a few pounds.
I asked this guy my age how he stays thin and he stated for years he just eats one meal a day and he actually used to own a bakery.
I looked it up just to make sure it would be safe to do and found out it is an actual diet called OMAD (One Meal A Day)
I started it a couple of weeks ago and it has't been too bad because I was doing intermittent fasting (16 hours without food).
Its supposed to trick the body into burning your stored fat.
I said I would try it for a month and see how it goes, I said that about drinking alcohol 35 years ago and have been alcohol free ever since.
I'll keep you posted on my progress
On the Golf thing, I have decided to resurrect my game (if I ever had one). I would love to go out with you guys once my swing gets to halfway respectable.

When gets like this I walk the main road at Wampatuck, its about 2.5 miles from the road to the end but there are two bitch hills. They plow it pretty good and there aren't many cars.
You have to be careful out there, take care!

There is such a difference between the Cape and where I live. 65 or 70 miles and I still have nothing but white on the ground. Hopefully we get some melting today and tomorrow.

jredfly 08-20-2022, 10:01 AM I finally went under the 200 pound mark and I am currently down to 184. On the BMI charts because I am 5'9" they say I need to be 165 not to be considered overweight so I still have 20 pounds to go.
I started following Dr. Berg on YouTube who talks about the science of the body and food intake which was amazingly educational to me. I never knew how IMPORTANT it is not to have a fatty liver and I was unaware of all the freaking bad chemicals I was putting into my body (where the heck is the FDA). He says it's not about losing weight to get healthy, it's about getting healthy to lose weight. I was doing the intermittent fasting but really didn't start to lose weight until I also combined healthy Keto cutting out the sugars/carbs to less than 30 grams a day.
Gonna start high intensity interval training to lose this last 20, I'll keep you posted. Check out Dr. Berg on YouTube, just sharing because it helped me, wishing you guys the best and stay safe out there.

jredfly 08-20-2022, 11:52 PM That's awesome for both you guys!
Hey, all we can do is keep trying.
Really trying to make this a change of life instead of a diet.
You are right though it is tough this time of year, at first I though I could have cheat days but it throws you out of ketosis, so you not only gain a couple of pounds but it can take up to a week of dieting before you start burning fat again, totally sucks.
piemma 08-21-2022, 02:07 AM Went on no bread, no pasta and no wine on Jan 7 2021. Down 63 # after one year and still maintaining. 193.
Hookedagain 08-21-2022, 07:06 AM I switched Doctors earlier this year. I knew I could shed a few pounds but working two full-time jobs and being active at both jobs I felt I was fine. I went through the pre visit with the nurse (weight, vital signs and such) and she said the Dr. will be right in. Moments later the door opens, in he walks typing on a laptop in his other arm....with out missing a beat, glances up at me and says....we're going to loose some weight this year, right? Holy chit Doc.....don't hold back! I was expecting a "Hi I'm Dr. campbell, pleased to meet you". I'm a new patient, never met before. Anyway we put a plan together and in just under 5 months I went from 232 to 203 so far. He wants to see me at 190.
It can be tough to change the way we eat, especially when we have bad eating habits. I really didn't want to give up certain things but it was worth it in the long run.
jredfly 08-21-2022, 08:21 AM The bed-side manner of some of these doctors leave a lot to be desired.
I give them some slack if they are good at what they do.
Great job on the weight loss but it is hard.
When I think that I can never enjoy a nice pasta dinner in the North End that really sucks. I am hoping once I hit my goal weight I might be able to do that once every three months and keep an eye on it. I don't want to over do it though slipping into the dark side again like an addict. It's crazy how the body and mind can react to food and the chemicals they produce.

Intermittent fasting with 1 meal a day. It’s not that hard to do. Still eat most things I want and still have some Capt and Diet Coke watching the games on the weekend.
No calorie counting. The only rule is for 23 hours only water black coffee or black tea.

beamie 04-22-2023, 07:16 AM Just shy of 50 down with the OMAD
Started 4 Dec. from 321 to 271 The rate slowed a bit but pretty steady and I now find waiting for my one meal at dinner pretty easy. Yes you get a bit ravenous at that point but this seems to be working for me without ‘dieting’ per say

jredfly 08-07-2023, 08:16 AM Had some carbs this weekend and boom 5 pounds but I am all good. I really like OMAD and healthy keto but I am not going to be the carb police. I love the North End and I gotta hit Federal Hill soon! Everything in moderation - Enjoy Life - Take care and be healthy!

For 2024 going to try and get to the gym more. we'll see how it goes.
