When I fish the Block, I seek humble accomodations. When my wife and I visited the Block in the past, we enjoyed the 1661 Inn, the sister inn of the Hotel Manisses, both a short walk from the ferry landing in Old Harbor.

Its dangerous there better make sure you sign a will before you go.

If you are going for a long weekend and do not need a house, I stayed at the Old Town Inn- which was nice. The owner's first name is Lucinda.

#^&#^&#^&#^&, I agree. Jeanne and I have stayed at both and they are fine accommodations.
