Armsby Abby rocks!
Gotta disagree with the Rhode Island brewpub.. Codington doesn't hold a candle to Trinity Brewhouse.

Armsby is probably one of the best in all the states.
I would have Lord Hobo on the list for restaurant, but I have not been to said Horseshoe. Maybe I should fix that.
I've had some really really good times at the publik house in Boston. Second to none tap selection and killllllller Mac n cheese

I prefer Coddington and I've been spent enough in both.
I love both to be honest.Trinity is my stop when its concert time in Providence but when I want to sit and relax Coddington is the place.

I like Union station , Trinity and Coddington but it all depends on the exact beer on the exact days. i have had good beer and bad beer in all of them.
Now the place I miss is the Rockbottom up in Braintree. They had some truly great beers from time to time and the prices for food like burgers etc were outstanding at happy hour times and they always had some beer of the month special for cheap money for 16OZ that was always a good brew.
I would say a brewery that hits the nail on the head with half their batches is very good and a brewery that nails 3 out of 4 of their beers consistantly is an outstanding brewery.
Now the down side is that there is no brewery in the area that is very consistant with great beer anymore. yes they all have a good one now and then but none of the locals seem to be consistantly outstanding lately.

I live on the Vineyard so I'm partial to Offshore Ale Co. in Oak Bluffs. A good variety of beer brewed on site and a great atmosphere.
