Went out with my son and brother in-law this morning. Some one told me there wer some Mac's hanging around?? I wanted to get some more time on the new set up to make sure all was well, So off we went. No bait just all my trackle and a few Mac jigs. Well No Mac's to be had!!
We decided to go inside qwith the rest of the crew and see if we coild not jig something?? Well my son was using a 4 oz bucktail I made over the winter and was able to jig up 2 bass a 27" and a 23" brother in-law was able to catch every darn sand shark from here to Boston:smash: Hey we are bass fishing I said to him. I got 1 bass 24"
Just a day out to screw off before the Fluke season opens. Had a nice day all was well and the boat ran good!! :happy: :happy: What more could you ask for

I was there stayed outside lots of small bass on the fly rod.
By any chance did you get a look at the big shark that came in with the tide?
Dang fin was out of the water 2 feet I moved out of the way:rolleyes:

Sorry bigcat i did not see the Shark. About what time was it when you saw it?? I was there from about 7 till Noon. What kind of boat do you have i might have seen you? I have a Wellcraft V20 with a bracket and 175 Yamaha.

macojoe,I was there about 7:30 saw the big fish about 8:30.
I have a Hydra-Sport bayboat, with a bow mounted trolling motor.
I was passed going and coming back through the Canal by a blue Wellcraft was that you?
I take it easy there have had a few run in's with the canal patrol :D

There have been a lot of Basking Sharks in Cape Cod Bay. Maybe that's what you saw. I saw one off Dennis that must have gone near 25 feet. Absolutely huge fish.

That's just what I was thinking Basking Shark,I did not get close enough to eye ball it.
