Watched it on HBO the other night for the first time in years. I forgot how freikin funny it is. One of my top 10 comedies of all time, I think.

did you notice the scene where they go to the commanders house and he is putting on his tie, it looks like he is looking in the mirror, his wife is behind him. then he walks through the doorway? Freakin brilliant.
