Recently a Muslim friend of mine made a post on FB regarding the type of blind prejudice towards people of her faith that a bombing such as we had in Boston last week can create.
I was PO'ed
In the case of the two cowards that bombed the marathon in particular. These were individuals that were welcomed into our country as refugees from a war torn country. They were afforded opportunity in education, athletics and given the means to excel in these areas. They were afforded these opportunities regardless of faith nationality color etc. no questions asked.
Some how these men developed a hatred for the country that embraced them, which drove them to want to kill those who followed its customs. To me the blind prejudice is not from us as Americans but the individuals who attack us regardless of how they benefit from our hospitality.
