Interesting how they fish from ladders.

That is interesting.

I am hoping to get into a couple places in Maine to fish blue trout. Maines other native trout species this spring. I may bring my ladder!

I have heard that some FF use step ladders when sight fishing for stripers on the Chatham Mononomy flats... never tried it

I have fished for the blue trout about 30 years ago. there use to be a couple of ponds on the back side of Baxter State Park up toward the Patten entrance that reportedly had them. I never caught one.

There are still some artic char up there and a few other ponds, I have never caught one but brook trout up there are very numerous and a lot of fun.

Spent many summers chasing brookies from the West Branch of the Penobscott to Chesonkook lake and everywhere in between. Actually fished the Alagash River when the only way there was an old tote road and a winch on your truck.
