I have a dry top that absolutely stinks my car up, have to break down and wash it. I ripped off the washing instructions tag of course. I was going to just do cold cold, and hang dry... Any insider tips or methods for waders and dry top washing and care?
Cold/cold and gentle cycle w/ a hang dry. If you can throw it in the dryer at low heat when its damp at the end of the drying it will help the water repellency... Which doesn't really matter with a dry top... But every little bit helpa

SPRAY IT WITH ODOR EATERS AND GET SOME ODOR EATER BALLS. THOSE BALLS WORK GREAT AND WILL ABSORB THE STINK.
Amazon.com: shoe odor balls (http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=shoe%20odor%20balls&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Ashoe%20odor%20balls)

I used to hang mine on my fence when I knew it was going to rain.

I use dawn dish detergent. It's almost the same stuff as wetsuit shampoo that deodorizes and cleans.
That's what I use if my top is really ripe.

X2. I also spray the outer layer with water repellant spray that is meant for tents and waders.
