It was a nice fish for where I caught it. I only weighed it in because it was a Sunday ending the week for the cup. There were other reasons involved for actually keeping it. This won't help me or our team for the cup. I'm not going to get into it but I kept the fish for a good reason that had nothing to do with the cup. It's not a big boat fish! Not even close. I share my pics with my friends and that's it. Not looking for Internet thanks. On another note a 50+ surf fish was weighed in today. Lets get fishing for s-b boat and shore!

Nice fish. All i can find is fish 20# and under right now.

Hope it holds up for a weekly prize for you, Jay. I know you don't expect it to be in the team's final top fish, but you have to take a shot with a good fish in the early going, IMO. AND it is already spoken for as dinner fare.....

Yup. He was happy. Can't believe I defrosted my freezer (on accident). I lost 10 + pounds of vac sealed fish from last season that was going to the old man and over 100 bucks worth of my own meat. That fish came in handy. He went from sad to happy pretty quickly and it will last him the season.

This week it blew up down here, many 40's wieghed by few teams, boat and surf. Been best Ive seen down here in years, and things are just getting started with the Bigger fish on the ocean front. Water temp is still very Cold for this time of year at least 2 weeks behind the past few years. Felt like April most of the month.
