I let mine sit for 3 days, but have fished some one or 2 days after.

Depends on the weather and humidity.

The more the better.

You finish the s2 finally?

Worst case do a coat, brush most of it off. Wait 24 hours. Fish it. When you get back from your trip, lightly sand it and give it another coat (could do another thin coat brushed off, dry, third coat; or just do a second coat). With my ADD, I have done it more than once that way with no ill effects. Al goldberg had a how to on sol with 3 thin coats similar to what I described. I have fished many rods with just the first coat. It is thin enough that it won't crack even after only 24 hours drying time.

Depends on what finish you use. Some like Flexcoat harden up pretty quickly. Aftcote takes longer.

I usually recommend about 3 days in a nice warm place after the final coat but I know people fish them after an overnight cure. The down side is an earlier (maybe immediate) cracking of the finish at the guide feet.

Epoxy applied. Should be fishable by the time I'm on the island... I guess it was the last minute of last minutes
