Not sure what to expect with this series as both teams come in red hot, peaking and in a groove. Lots of 1-0 and 2-1 games? Will Chicago look at what Toronto gave us and plan from there? Will we look at what Detroit did to them and plan from there? Any way you look at it this should be intense and exciting. Bruins in 6!

The only things Chicago has over Boston is higher crime rate, higher unemployment, & home of 2 POS politicians.
The way the Bruins are playing they will be very tough to beat.
Bruins in 6 games.

Playoff hockey has become playing shinney in the corners.... Bruins win that game. Chicago would only commit two to the puck in there against LA. B's will commit 3, and send it around to opposite pointman as last option. That is why so many defensemen are scoring so many points. The dump it in and go get it is not my favorite style to see, but that is what the game is becoming as it gets close to the end. B's are more physical. Tuuka is the key.

Could not sleep after that loss but a win and it would have been the same. Hopefully come out of there with a split. They got way too many shots on net and the ultimate game-winner was part of their game plan all along, screen Rask and they were bound to get one by him. Their goaltender played out of his mind and deserved the W.

Glad I have Sunday off...

Another night of heart-attack-hockey, this time with a sweet outcome. I did not give them a prayer after that pathetic first period but mucho credit to Claude for mixing it up and for the teams response. Shocking that Horton was able to play and did not re-injure himself. So, one win for the skill and finess team and one win for the physicality team. Let's hope the physicality outlasts the skill. The hits last night were like 39 to 13 in the B's favor at one point. That is three hits given for every one taken. Lucic was and freight train!

Hope they take the next two, drop game 5 and win it at home in game 6! ( I would be okay with taking the next three though...)

Tough hockey! Great for the fans but the OT has got to be wearing down the players. I think this series goes 7 games and is decided by one goal in game 7.

we can't skate with them and win....but we can check the chit out of them and win. I still say b's in 6 :)

and the beat goes on.....it seems to me that the last 3 teams we played were a collection of stars while the b's are a TEAM. great job by all, peter, cam, cloood, and the player leadership in the room.

Yep, another GREAT team effort
Bergy was excellent as usual
And Seideberg was solid and I was glad to see him wear the jacket, I lost count how many blocked shots he had not to mention how many pucks he poked away.
Another goose egg for Rask
Jagr's pass to Bergeron was amazing that even got thru that tiny space
And the third line came up huge once again.
Keep this train rolling:buds:

Let's see, first game was a loss in 3 OT's off of a 1-in-a-million pinball ricochet lucky shot.
Second game goes to 1 OT period with a win.
last night ended with no OT, and no scoring by the 'hawks.

How many shots on net did they have for all their power plays?

If they can keep up this playing pace, the B's should have it in 5 , 6 at the most, but I'm not writing anything in stone until the series is over.

GO BRUINS!!!!

They seem to be getting better as they go on. I was in Boston the night they won it Vancouver and with a win tomorrow night I will once again be heading to a Gahden-area bar to hopefully celebrate in the streets again on Saturday. or Monday or whenever there is a potential close-out game...

I will say, despite the domination last night, I am not quite as confident as most of the sports-talk radio folks I have been hearing all day. Everyone acting as if they have this all wrapped up when they are only up by one game. Chicago has also been resilient this post season and the long series that was initially predicted may still turn out to be. I guess I am just trying to keep a Rask-state-of-mind and not get too high or too low....

I like the confidence of the team now....they can feel it and it is infectious. They really need to win tonight to deflate the hopes of the hawks. They can not sit back. If they loose this all the MO goes to hawks as they go back to their home ice.

I had predicted a six game final. B's split first two, win both home games, loose in Chicago and then win game 6 home .

I would send McQuid or Boychuck in to bang Hossa good and put him out of his misery. I would love this to be a high scoring defeat for the hawks and really deflate them, but they could come back hard. The B's are playing great and just need to bring a solid 60 and continue to smother their offense. You can see the Hawks are perplexed and surprised at what is happening.

Lot's of experts are saying they need to stop the run and gun and play a chip and chase game...if they do that the B's will eat them up. It's too late to be changing styles of play now. Other experts are saying load up the 1st line with all their superstars...yeah OK they may break thru the Chara/Sides barricade but what about the rest of the lines, they will be killed.

I am predicting a high score defete for the hawks tonight if they attempt to modify their gameplan

Hawks were fast
B's missed some great chances, like Kelly
Siedenberg made a couple screwups
Puck was down Hawks end most of overtime but B's blew it
Sucks to give back home ice

Game 5 after 2....

Bergeron not playing since early. Chara not sharp, nor up to speed of the game. Players better get their game together, fast.

Lace them up, boys! Gonna be a good one tonight!

Pretty amazing that there is no payout to the players for the playoffs, unless negotiated into individual player's contract.....

Yeh. Sadly.

The B's had opportunities though and could be playing for 7 or carrying a cup

Incredibly bad 30 seconds! I thought we had it then lightning strikes..twice. Oh well , still a great season for the B's and their fans.

Looking back at the series, game one was a killer for the B's, dominating the second half of the game and not getting the W. Shoulda coulda woulda. Jaga was not all that I dont care what they say. I wish Seguin had showed up sooner. They went further then anyone thought they would, Im Dam proud being a Bruins fan. This one would have really hurt more had they not won it in 11'.
