Raven 06-19-2013, 01:29 PM as aposed to buying a larger AC with built in FAN that's remote controlled.... just saying fishsmith 06-19-2013, 01:37 PM I have one, it was with the house when we bought in 1998. I love the thing, drops the temp of the house quickly. Don't use it when the pollen is heavy or you'll have yellow dust all over and a wife who is P-freaking-O'd. Also for winter make a box out of that styrofoam type insulation to cover it. It sucks all the rain right into the window..... I have learned it is a "time and place" use item. Mine is running now and I am loving it but dont want any part of it during high pollen, dust or humidity type days. Thats when the AC's go on.
