This is as tasty as anything that swims. Grilled it on the egg and served with a lemon thyme butter from the herb container. Go out of your way to eat this fish IMO it beats any tuna or sword I have eaten, of course it tastes better when it was swimming the previous day.

I wouldn't take it over a top quality stick fish but we buy it all the time here in season and even when super fresh it's dirt cheap compared to sword.

a lot of people who don't like fish will like shark.
I Have heard that some restaurants refer to as Brielle swordfish.
Cutting up a 400 pounder for the BBQ is quite a chore though

I think some of that dislike happens over time of eating lots of fish.

Saw a nice one Saturday morning on our way out to cox's ledge. Shot clear out if the water. No joy for us just 2 out of 4 onboard puking. I was in the non-puking category.
