My buddy has-right now- this boat in his yard.
I just figured I'd pass it along

I just saw a segment on Greater Boston about a program that rehabs boats as part of a youth program. MAP-Maritime Apprenticeship Program-associated with the Hull Lifesaving Museum. Don't know where they get their boats but they may be interested. It would be a shame too lose this to a chain saw.

I called Liberty last week. He's scrapping boats right now.

He's getting me an old wooden transom for a bar in mantown. I'm going to refinish the wood, add a bar top and add Typhoon lettering.

Andrew,

Let me know if there are others available after you get yours. That would be perfect for a project I have in mind here in my house.

Dave @ liberty marine is in the boat scrapping business. Call the number, or look him up on Facebook. I'm sure he can find whatever your looking for

He said he gets them all the time.

Show up to the scrapper with a chainsaw, sawzall and $100.
