I know. I know. It's a freshwater question.

But! I know some of y'all fish the sweet water. :-).

What is your go-to spinner bait? I fished a spinner for bait for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised by it's action and fish-catching-ability.

Looking to pick up some new spinner baits.

Thank you in advance for your valued feedback on this non-saltwter/non-striper question.

Tight lines (and screaming reels!)

Clear warm water I like white with willow leaf blades, stained water I like chartreuse.

During the spring I will use Colorado blades and a slower retrieve.

Just about covers it, i prefer hammered blades over smooth, seem to produce 2x for me, but that is just my preference. I also keep a black one in the bag as well.

Strike King had a bleed series that i have been leaning towards but its had to find the blade combo's i want.

I have used them for years and their ability to cover water and tap aggressive fish is great. For me medium sized white work the best and i like to use a grub or split tail on the hook. Some of the baits are huge and either it's a confidence thing or just that circumstance but they don't seem to work as well. I actually have one with a herring like color scheme and silver blades I plan on trying in a pond with a run that I hope really triggers a big fish bite.

3/8oz Chartreuse and white with hammered silver Colorado blades and a white twister tail is my favorite spinnerbait. Great search and cover lots of water bait. This time of year in boulder fields at night I helicopter 3/4-1oz black with single silver hammered Colorado blade with good success.
