They are great for fluke. Hard to keep alive very long once hooked. Bass love them but I've not livelined them for bass. You'd need a very light hook. I spent two hours yesterday fishing a small blitz where bass (tiny-10lbs) had snappers pinned against rocks. It was automatic hookup with a small pencil thrown tight to the shore. piemma 08-27-2013, 06:10 AM I tried it once. They seem to swim too fast. Rockfish9 08-27-2013, 06:30 AM I put them on a bridel and under a( small) balloon...they make a good bait when the area is infested with them... buckman 08-27-2013, 07:24 AM I tried it once. Live would be better. piemma 08-27-2013, 08:06 AM Thanks guys. :) bart 08-27-2013, 08:46 AM A guy from Woonsocket (I think his name is Bob Giguire (sp)) who used to bucktail the Jamestown Bridge in its hay day has always told my father he used live snapper blues in other situations and did very well with them. There were articles written about this guy if anyone knows who I'm talking about...
