Anyone ever used one in the surf? If so, did you like it? I am looking at them but they are in the $500 with tax. A bit pricy

It's in the surf I am interested in. I have Abu 6500, 2 Calcutta 400s. I have tried the Saltist and didn't like it. I have a Century S2 11' that Saltheart built for me and I want to do it justice. I mentioned the TE because that's what I use in the ditch,cast-ability for different stuff eels,plugs and jigs is very good,also the drag is really smooth. I can say it's my go to reel.
