Yep , we looked bad today. IMO this game was the most evident of our lack of receivers. We also really missed Vince today. Oh well. We had lots of luck with all the chances to tie near the end but just didn't get it done. They got to Brady a lot too. Bottom line is we are lucky to be 4-1.

I'm watching the Denver game now and Dallas manhandled them in the first quarter. I think Denver is do for an offensive explosion (Just got a TD now) but Romo is playing great for Dallas and if he keeps it up it will be a tight game.

I much rather watch my boys play Pop Warner than nfl.
Although Leo plays High school ball now.

The red sox put up more points than the Pats....how sad is that... next week the Bruins might out score them...how the mighty have fallen.... i thought they signed Austin Cauley ( sp.) ...or did he have another concussion from the plane ride...I dont recall seeing him on the field.

he has to read the playbook and practice with the team first Joe, it's not like baseball where you can just get right into the lineup.
but you are right, we wonder when he is supposed to make a contribution...........
the O line had just as bad a day as Brady did.
I have faith that they will make it right

if it were not for the Pat's I would not have won 300 bucks....going to have to flip a coin this week with them playing NO....we need some healthy tight ends and a running back .... Ridley was out and really have not seen Blount do much...never should have released Welker

i.we need some healthy tight ends and a running back .... Ridley was out and really have not seen Blount do much...never should have released Welker

didn't release welker, he was a free agent who took an offer elsewhere. :(

Blount has been solid

in that game there was a play near the end where Bolden dropped a pass, we sure could have used Shane Vereen there but he has a broken wrist or hand.

Exactly.....Welker left because Welker wanted to...we didn't get rid of him.

UUUUUUU RRRRRRR correct about Welker...BUT!...... pats would not give him what he wanted and now he gets PO'd and goes to denver for about the same as pat's offer

The Dad Fisherman

He left for less than the Pats offered him (with Incentives)....He wanted to go.

IF YOU DON'T THINK BELECHICK is the Biggest
control freak that EVER lived

then you missed the BOAT

Welker didn't leave the Pats

he simply filed for a Divorce from Belechick's OBSESSIVE

Never said Belichik wasn't a Control freak.....he's a Super Control Freak. He's also a Proven head coach with his method.

Coughlin is a Super Control Freak as well....lot of coaches are.

Welker and Belichik had run their course and it happens....he's gone...move on

The best of times are behind us.... The Celts aren't the only team in town that is saddled with a clear lack of top tier talent across the roster. That last pick that Brady threw was horrible.

Wilfork and Mayo are among the best in the league not just our team. Talib has been getting the job done like a probowler. Almost seems like the best are snake bit rather than random stuff. Man , how much damage can a team take!

I can't remember so many key injuries and gronks whatever you want to call it- I hear he's pissing off teammates by tearing it up in practice and saying he's not ready to play.

Saltheart
10-17-2013, 09:08 AM
A lot of people are saying he's been an animal in practice but won't get back in the saddle on game day. Ultimately its his decision though. He's the one who has to live with the long term consequences of injuries.

Bill Bellichick is giving Ryan acid reflux. Now the Jets will have to double cover Gronk while Thompkins and Dobson along with Edelman roam free. You just have to love it.
