PSI is having a closeout sale on their #1 mt superdrives. I have an old Sears lathe and it uses 1 mt both head and tail stock so I ordered both. All they have is 1/2 inch diameter. I always wanted the Sorby Stebcenter but bought one of these instead. Next to Professor Ms carbide cutter holder this is the best upgrade i ever made to my lathe.

No sense spending the $$ on a Sorby Steb center. The PSI knock offs are fine. I made that mistake and wish I hadn't. 1/2" center is great for small birch for needles.

I agree with Bill about not having to buy some of the big name brands for a lot more money. There are things out there now at very much lower prices that are just as good.

In addition to the bigger 4 jaw barracuda chuck I also have a 3 jaw chuck I got cheap at PSI and its small but very useful.
