Should be a good game tonight. Panthers have been doing well lately. Lets hope the guys catch a few of Brady's passes. They've been dropping them for weeks now. Time to spray on some sticky!

Go Pats

I don't think Belichik is going to let Ridley even carry a tune anymore....

I think Smith must have pulled a "Delonte West" on Talib a few years back.

Hosed again

so that was not catchable? how would they know seeing how gronk was forced away from the ball and wrapped up, that IS the definition of pass interference wtf?
earlier in the game Newton threw a ball 6 ft over the guys head and the Pats get penalized, so that one was catchable?:smash: WTF NFL???

oh well too many mistakes anyway

now short week to prepare for an even better team coming to Foxboro

At the very least its holding. To me that is the worst case of pass interference I ever saw. he was hugged and ridden off the back of the field. If he wasn't tied up he may have moved left , right , forward and the ball may have been thrown differently depending on where he moved to. This is a classic case of too much subjectivity in the rules now allowing the refs to determine the outcome of a game instead of just calling the most obvious pass interference or at least the unarguable hold.

Just ridiculous.

Ridley should get one hand cut off. What the hey , he only hangs on to the ball with one hand anyway!

Yeah we made a lot of mistakes but we deserved one more play based on the mugging Gronk got. The refing has become ridiculous now. If this then that but only if sometimes maybe close enough. Its total crap! Crap!

question of the day.... if Manning throws that exact same pass and Welker gets mauled in the end zone.. do they pick up the flag... me thinks not.. these very questi0nable calls are getting a little too common.... i see the NFL's picture.. Newton is the new NFC darling.. Manning the AFC darling... they want those two to meet in the big dance.. and IMHO will do whatever it takes ( their own devine intervention) to make it happen...worst call I have ever seen.. even worst than some of the shams when the Pat's played the Colts back in the Manning era.. the Ref that over ruled that call should be suspened for 3 games with out pay.. and fined 50 K.. maybe they'll think twice next time before they take away the opertunity for a team to win... that's all it was... an opertunity..no gaurentee they would still make it.. they should have never been in that posistion.. but they desreve the chance...

I didn't see the game, but from the one still photo I saw of the play, if a defender has his back to the ball and is impeding a receiver from getting to it, that's usually interference. But refs often swallow the whistle in the last seconds of a game. It wasn't the same situation, but have you ever seen them throw flag when a QB throws a 50 yd Hail Mary into the end zone with the clock at 0:00, and 7 guys play bumper cars? I never have.

This was a home team call, plain and simple.
Worst call ever? Seriously?
I am a Pats fan but I saw a strip/sack! Tuck rule....best call ever!

Yep. Bad call went against the Patriots, again. (NY Jets get to kick again for the win on the push call...) Looked like the replacement refs.. But these are all during the regular season. I will take those as long as we get the calls the other way during the play offs....which is when it counts. And I'm just as upset they kicked the FG instead of running it on 4th and 1, right after a terrible pass play on 3rd and 1. A TD there would have made it a whole different game. And even if they had been stopped, they still need a TD if Carolina is able to go 99 yards. McCourtney's penalty was terrible, and was instrumental to their drive.... What happened to what was a supposedly sound corps of DBs????

And the call against SF for the hit on Brees was bogus too....

If you don't want the refs to screw you out of a game....make the plays. A lot more went wrong for the Pats then a questionable call on a pass that probably wasn't going to get caught.

Ridley fumbling on the 3 didn't help matters, Talib needs to hit some anger management classes as well.....without those 2 issues they may of actually won the game. Refs had nothing to do with those.

considering ALL of the injuries the patriots have I think they're a good team getting better. 2 of 3 loses came down the refs calls (or non calls) on the last play of the games.
