View Full Version : Pats vs Colts
spinncognito 01-06-2014, 10:34 AM Okay let's get the discussion started. Will the rested Patriots have it easy with the emotionally charged Colts? Does the NFL hope for a Manning/Luck or a Manning/Brady showdown for the Championship game? Both are intriguing storylines.
Early forcast calls for 40 and showers so weather may not be an issue. Colts gave up 44 against KC, can Brady pick them apart for as many? Will Luck's lucky bounces make them the team of destiny this year?
What say you all?
Raven 01-06-2014, 11:11 AM the colts will be playing a different team
than they played last time to a degree.....
with so many "key" players of the pats
out of action.... hard to plan for that
The Dad Fisherman 01-06-2014, 12:28 PM Probably be your typical Pats nail biter....won by a Field Goal in the waning seconds or trying to stop Indy from doing the same.
striperman36 01-06-2014, 01:31 PM I'm with TDF. Don't turn it off at half time. Vegas is spotting the Colts 7.5 pts
Weather: 40s and possible rain
Saltheart 01-06-2014, 01:32 PM That was a crazy game Sat. Not sure you could learn much about the Colts from that game.
I think we can prevent them from scoring 40+. Them scoring 45 was a fluke. I think we can score 40 and have done so often . I lean towards us putting on a big scoring performance and holding them in the low 30's. :)
massbassman 01-06-2014, 05:11 PM If Indy plays like they did, we'll have our work cut out for us. Defense just dealt another devastating blow with the loss of Spikes for the rest of the year... Brady and boys better be on their A game!!

that arctic chill might be a factor Bill...
as it pushes eastward with memphis Tennessee saying
they're going to have the coldest temperatures in 100 years
so that's a big deal...
what's your take on it from your end...

striperman36 01-06-2014, 08:30 PM this coming weekend is in between arctic pulses, the Ice Queen will be back shortly.
BTW, it was 16 degrees in Pensacola this morning. Lots of negative weather vibes out there today
striperman36 01-08-2014, 02:33 PM Could be very wet, in the 40s. Gloves on the field.
nightfighter 01-11-2014, 08:19 PM Great start!
How about the Seattle game.... Oddsmakers took the line from 8 to 9. And took all that Seattle money, or had a push at worst.
ProfessorM 01-11-2014, 08:47 PM my feeling is Colts by a touchdown.

Raider Ronnie 01-12-2014, 10:05 AM As much as I hate to admit this,
No need for a vote to figure out the coach of the year..........
trevier 01-12-2014, 10:11 AM my feeling is Colts by a touchdown.
:smash:
striperman36 01-12-2014, 10:38 AM Everybody really stepped up their game last night. The Colts where owned from the 1st minute
ProfessorM 01-12-2014, 12:45 PM My record remains intact. If I feel they will loose and state it they always win. I do it for myself. Call it a superstition. Kind of like turning the channel during important field goals. I never watch important field goals the tension kills me.
